Can I or a company representative sign the Power of Attorney, or does it need to be signed in front of a notary?

For most trademark filings, notarization of your Power of Attorney is not required. A standard signature by the applicant or an authorized company will suffice.

There are some exceptions to this, though. Certain countries require notarization or apostille certification for foreign applicants. The requirement is jurisdiction-specific; your legal representative will advise you whether notarization is needed for the specific countries where you are filing.
